The south will rise again? Well.. we are working on it. Bringing another community site into the mix we now have ChesterfieldDaily.net that has just been released.

Great site. I really like the cleanliness of the design.

Here are some suggestions, if you want them:

    * Put your full name on the site somewhere. If it is going to be a community site, there should be an obviously real person responsible for this.

    * Make it so someone can submit info via a form, so that they don't have to give you an email address. Let people preserve their privacy if they need to.

    * Put recent comments above the fold. It really does help conversation flow much better.

    * Make the calendar so that folks can check on events further out. If I know of a specific Halloween event, for instance, but need to know if it is at 6PM or 7PM...

    * Link to the other community blogs somewhere. I think that we really need to emphasize the community of sites, especially as we diversify in geography / politics / whatever.
